The origin of "Bearded Zhang" can be traced back to 1960, when it was a braised pork rice stall opposite the Shuanglian Market on Minsheng West Road. Due to its delicious taste, excellent flavor, and high-quality ingredients, its good reputation brought in excellent business. The founder of Bearded Zhang, Mr. Zhang Yanquan, was so busy that he only slept an average of three to four hours a day and simply didn't have time to groom his beard, which was as thick as his business. Over time, his loyal customers affectionately called him "Bearded Zhang," and the name "Bearded Zhang" spread like wildfire, becoming as famous as his braised pork rice. Thus, braised pork rice and Bearded Zhang became inseparable registered trademarks. Starting as a roadside stall opposite Shuanglian Market on Minsheng West Road, Hu Xu Zhang has gradually grown into a chain enterprise. With an unwavering spirit, the company is dedicated to the research and innovation of Taiwanese cuisine, investing heavily in advanced, sophisticated kitchen equipment to ensure consistent product quality and flavor. Adhering to the business philosophy of "quality, taste, service, and hygiene," Hu Xu Zhang is gradually developing towards rationalization, corporatization, chain operation, and internationalization. The company aspires to compete with Western fast food chains both domestically and internationally, realizing its brand vision of "selling braised pork rice that is known worldwide." Currently, it owns three restaurant brands: "Hu Xu Zhang," "Jing Jian Kang," and "Fu Niu." We welcome enthusiastic friends to join our family.
